The stunning location of Belvoir Castle was the background to Jit’s & Mina meticulously planned wedding this weekend. The grand décor of this royal place definitely made Mina feel like a real queen for the day- she definitely looked like one!
We started the day with Hindu ceremony where the fresh and flowery decor of the mandap was beautifully presented by the Maz Events and the traditional tabla & sitar players created nice atmosphere to the ceremony.
Quick change to the white dress and we were stood in the magnificent Ball Room to witness the Civil ceremony accompanied by the string players. The Bride & Groom then made their way to the lobby to enjoy champagne with the family & friends next to the fireplace. Before the reception we had just enough time to take them both for the creative shoot outside the castle – what a better backdrop then the cannons and towers of this magnificent Belvoir Castle.
After some very emotional speeches, Kikli Roadshow shook the floor and the party started! Jush Events with their fantastic food made sure the guest had enough energy to dance till midnight …
We feel privileged to be part of the most important day for Mina & Jit. Huge Congratulations !!!
A special thanks to the team for hard work, support and lots of fun.
But this wedding at Belvoir Castle was with extraordinary twist! Following the documentary about the Belvoir Castle & ‘Capability’ Brown project which was documented by Alan Titchmarsh for a Channel 4 programme, we’ve had the privilege to work alongside Spun Gold TV, filming the preparations and the ceremonies. So look for our lovely couple when the documentary will be aired in the few coming months!
In the meantime have look at a little compilation from that day …
